Leopard skirt - Style #3

Hello my ladies,

Happy Thursday! As you may have already noticed, I try to style any new additions to my closet 3-ways.  Very often, it is not a challenge at all. However, there are some items that are not so easy to style and we just end up wearing them one time or in the same fashion over and over. These pieces end up in the back of our closet, unloved and uncared for. Now I make a conscious effort to style a piece at least 3-ways. And of course I have two ulterior reasons to do that as well - to justify the cost to my hubby and to have more outfits for my blog :).

The leopard skirt from ASOS is made of polyester and although some may question its quality, it feels and looks quality to me. The material is used by ASOS for a lot of the items in their ASOS collection. It is perfect for pencil fit skirts and dresses due to the elastane in the material.

I hope you had the chance to enter my GIVAWAY. If not, you can find more information at the end of the post. Good Luck and till then, style it up!

Atlanta Fashion Bloggers

This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting five wonderful ladies with the Atlanta Meetup group "Atlanta Fashion Bloggers". We had wonderful time over lunch sharing experiences about blogging, shopping and entrepreneurship. Here is why I believe these ladies will be in my circle for a while:

1) They are all confident, driven and willing to take risks to be successful
2) They embrace challenges and enjoy learning new things
3) They love to travel and use every opportunity to do so
4) And last but not the least, they appreciate fashion, beauty and shopping deals

I look forward to our next meetup.

Another Chance to Make It Right

Don't you feel like you just had your birthday all over again?

We get a second chance within twelve months to get on track with our resolutions which seem to be the same year after year for me. I don't have to be successful with all 20 of them, maybe 3 or 4. Or maybe one. And it is:

FINISH WHAT I START

Yes, I know, not very specific, but I can start with small things such as going to bed at 10pm. If I finish what I start, I will naturally have the remaining 19 resolutions covered: work out 4 days/week, diets, weekly dates with the hubby, meditation, reading more, toastmastering, dancing and having fun, going to bed early, spending time with friends, be less sensitive, etc. etc. Imagine the side effects of getting things done such as confidence and faith. I have a clear picture in my head of what I want to be, so clear I can almost touch it. Most importantly, I have my hubby onboard so I have the support I need. This year I will be a member of winners' club. Do you care to join me?

Christmas at the Webers

The happiest moments in life for me are undeniably spent with the family. Fortunately, I have two wonderful families - my Bulgarian family and my American family. Every year, I spent either Thanksgiving or Christmas with my American family in Arizona. Here are some of our annual traditions:

1) Mexican food. Mexican food in Georgia is just not as good as in Arizona. I have never had Mexican food in Europe. I wonder how it is.

Image from ifood.tv but mine looked pretty much the same
2) Bowling. The Webers in Arizona are pretty much professionals. I was able to hold my ground for one game - the remaining three games were total embarrassment. And I thought I looked kind of cool bowling but the picture below proves me wrong!

 3) We watched Sherlock Holmes second year in a row. I have to say Robert Downey Jr. is in his element and I loved the second movie as well. Hopefully, part III is out by year end 2012 :)

 4) In-N-Out Burger. Although not a tradition yet, I think this burger joint should be on our annual holiday agenda!

And here is my Christmas Day outfit:

Dress: Express
Cardigan - Leftonhouston
Shoes - Kelly and Katie from DSW

Am I pass the age group for this outfit?

One of my greatest pet peeves is age-inappropriate dressing. With this outfit, I feel like I am on the verge of doing exactly that. Yes, right there in the right sidebar it says it: Fashion Bloggers Over 30.  Of course, I am proud to be in that league otherwise I would not have it there. However, do you think that distressed jeans and slubby sweaters are for girls in their 20's (excluding celebrities as there are no limitations for them)? What are some of your age-inappropriate pet peeves?

Sweater - Free People from Bloomingdale's
Jeans - Armani Exchange
