Jeffrey Fashion Cares Part 1: Behind the Scenes

Last night, I had the pleasure to volunteer for a charity event, Jeffrey Fashion Cares. It benefits the Atlanta AIDS Fund and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure—Greater Atlanta Affiliate, which funds grassroots organizations fighting breast cancer. The fundraiser event featured a fashion show with the extremely talented Jason Wu and his Fall 2011 collection. Check out some of the pictures from behind the scenes. Wish List: Red Hot

I am so excited about the red suit trend I have been noticing on editorials and other bloggers. It looks both classy and sexy.  The only affordable suit I have found so far is from Express (last image) but if you have any other sources please send them my way.

And here is the final part of the photo shoot with Taneisha with PhotographyWithTK.com. I will miss the talented photographers, the professional directing and the superb editing of the photos. I am wearing a satin pencil dress from Karen Millen, whose dresses always have perfect tailoring. Did you know she comes up with 8 collections a year? For her current collection, I love the limited edition studded totes. I think I love everything studded these days:)
