I could not have dreamed for a more wonderful trip - with my favorite people to one of the most spectacular places in the whole world. The Ultimate Summer Dress

It was a long time before I got the confidence to wear this dress - as you can see it is kind of short. But there is nothing that a summer resort town, a tropical drink and a little tan can't fix :) I don't think I own a piece of clothing that feels better on my skin than this simple and minimalist summer dress.

Here is another great local gem we discovered in Pensacola Beach, FL - McGuires Irish Pub. I have to admit, the drinks, called Irish Wake, were my favorite in Pensacola - all I could remember is that they had Bacardi Rum 151 and they tasted summery and refreshing! My favorite desert was the gooey bread pudding with Bushmills Irish Whiskey! Delicious!

The bar has more than half a million in dollar bills on the walls - a tradition the owner started with a $1 tip back in1977, followed by customers.

Peg Leg Pete's Oyster Bar

Hello My Dear Fashionistas,

I am so sorry for my absence but I had to take a much needed short vacation to Pensacola Beach, FL to rejuvenate and  re-energize. Do you feel ambitious and energized after vacation or depressed and gloomy that you have to get back to work or school? I have to say, I experience both at the same time.

That was the first time we went on a vacation with friends and I have to say we had an amazing time, which included a lot of beach bumming and eating fresh and sumptuous seafood!

There pictures are from one of those restaurants (Peg Leg Pete's Oyster Bar) that serves the most fresh and tasty oysters, crab legs, shrimp, lobster, on and on. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of the food as I was too busy devouring anything in front of me. The restaurant is next to a boat yard and a great setting for some sunset pictures!

Safari dress

I don't know about you but I am in love with LSD (little safari dresses, in case you were thinking something else :). Unfortunately, I only have one in black and one in gold colors, and I would love to find something in animal print or maybe something in green or orange. My little dresses are true safari dresses because I have taken them on all my recent and no so recent travels. I can dress them up or down with heels or flats, depending on the occasion which makes it very convenient for travels.

NAVA

This is the second part of the post (but the first part of the evening) I shared with you last time. It is my favorite moment of "going out" because I get to eat amazing food and to laugh out loud with my friends and hubby. Both the decor and the food in this restaurant, called NAVA, are in Southwestern style, influenced by Latin flavors. Chris, who is from Arizona, kept saying that is it is more Southwestern than the Southwest. I should have brought my lasso to fit in better but also to catch the waiter who disappeared quite often.
